It operated electric cargo-bike delivery hubs in ten UK cities, a mix of company-run sites and franchises, carrying parcels for retailers and carriers who wanted zero-emission urban delivery. The company raised £5M in 2023 and a further £4M from the same investors in 2024 to scale its hubs and technology platform, and had just opened a Birmingham hub. Turnover did not triple as planned, a cashflow crisis followed, and no new funding could be found. Will Wright and Steve Absolom of Interpath were appointed joint administrators on 31 January 2025, seven hubs were shut and just over 100 staff were made redundant. The company moved from administration to dissolution in February 2026 and was dissolved on 4 May 2026. ## Why - Could not raise the next round - Demand fell away - Scaled too early ## What happened to the assets, customers and team Interpath administrators closed seven hubs and made just over 100 people redundant, keeping 38 staff at Cambridge and Edinburgh while seeking buyers for the e-bike fleet, brand and IP; the Bristol hub was a separate legal entity and kept trading and franchise hubs were unaffected.
