Athletico Ventures is a London-based investment collective set up in 2020 to let elite athletes invest in promising startups alongside top-tier investors. Its members have included professional footballers, Formula 1 and Formula E drivers, tennis and volleyball players and esports figures, together with technology executives. The group targets late-seed to Series B rounds in consumer businesses, impact areas such as education, health, climate and food, and sports and entertainment. Early investments reported in the press included Wethenew, Life5, Scoreplay and Omada. It was founded by Arthur Bernard, a sports and media executive.
