Chroma Ventures is the investment firm of Paddy Burns and Chris van der Kuyl, the co-founders of the games studio 4J Studios. It was set up to bring their growing personal portfolio under one roof. Based at Water's Edge in Dundee, it puts flexible capital and hands-on advice into early-stage and established high-growth businesses across Scotland and the wider UK, mainly data-led companies and those building innovative technology. Direct holdings include TVSquared, Broker Insights, Blippar, Parsley Box, Ace Aquatec and Team17\. It also holds indirect stakes through investment partnerships such as LVP, SIS Ventures and Seedhaus.
