Climate Investment is an independent investor set up by members of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative, whose member companies act as limited partners in its funds. It provides venture to growth equity capital to companies cutting emissions in high-emitting sectors, including energy systems, industry such as cement, steel and chemicals, agriculture, buildings and transport.

The firm has invested since 2017, pairing capital with industrial partnerships that help portfolio companies deploy their technologies at scale. It reports $1.8bn of committed capital under management and has offices in London, Houston and Campbell, California.
