Creative UK is the body formed from the merger of Creative England and the Creative Industries Federation. Alongside advocacy and business support, it provides loans, venture debt and equity to creative SMEs, and reports having invested more than £50m in the sector over the past decade.

Its main vehicle is Creative Growth Finance II, a £35m fund run with Triodos Bank that follows a first fund which backed 30-plus businesses in film and TV, virtual production, narrative games, advertising and software. Regional programmes in the North East offer smaller equity and loan investments. The organisation is based at MediaCityUK in Salford.
