dmg ventures is the venture investment arm associated with dmg media, publisher of the Daily Mail. It backs consumer start-ups and pairs capital with discounted advertising across dmg media titles, plus marketing expertise, to help brands reach mass audiences.

Its Headline Fund invests £250k to £1.5m at seed to Series A, mainly in UK companies, using a mix weighted towards cash. Its Scale Fund invests £1m to £5m at Series B onwards, largely in media credits. The firm reports more than £250m invested since 2018 and runs Media Maestro, an annual competition awarding a start-up £250k of advertising space.
