A global venture capital investor backed by Fidelity, whose roots go back to Fidelity Ventures, set up in Boston in 1969\. It invests in technology and healthcare companies through teams covering Europe and Israel, China, India and Japan, with F-Prime Capital operating as its US sister fund.

The firm reports more than 350 portfolio companies, over 35 IPOs and assets under management above $5bn. Portfolio examples include AppsFlyer, Icertis, Paidy and Fibe, and Fidelity backing gives it flexibility in how it supports companies over time.
