FPE Capital targets what it calls second-stage growth: proven, profitable companies that have reached product-market fit with little outside funding. Sectors are B2B software (including fintech and cybersecurity), software services such as managed service providers and cloud partners, and data products such as pricing and benchmarking.

It invests in businesses with enterprise values of £10m–£50m, taking stakes of roughly 30–90%. Product-led targets need about £4m or more in revenue, service-led ones about £1m or more in EBITDA, and all must have UK or Irish exposure.
