IW Capital is a London-based investor, founded in 2011, that backs UK small and medium-sized businesses, with a recent emphasis on technology companies in areas such as AI, medtech, SaaS and clean technology. Much of its capital comes from private investors, family offices and wealth managers through the Enterprise Investment Scheme, and it runs an EIS portfolio service alongside deal-by-deal investments.

In 2024 it launched a £30m fund for UK SMEs with proven models ready to scale. Beyond funding, it offers portfolio support through its IW Connect and IW Catalyst programmes.
