Lingotto Investment Management is an FCA-regulated investment manager owned by Exor N.V. It runs several strategies and manages around $10.8bn including commitments. Its Lingotto Innovation strategy, led by former Baillie Gifford partner James Anderson, is a multi-stage growth fund with about $1.8bn under management. It can invest from venture rounds through to public markets in companies it believes have exceptional long-term potential. The strategy takes concentrated, patient positions, and its founding investors include Exor and Covéa. Lingotto's other strategies, Intersection, Horizon and Mosaic, are mainly public-markets and multi-asset funds rather than startup investments.
