Octopus Group is a privately held UK investment and entrepreneurship business founded in 2000 by Simon Rogerson, Christopher Hulatt and Guy Myles. Its businesses include Octopus Investments, Octopus Ventures, Octopus Energy, in which it is the largest external shareholder, and Octopus Money.

For start-ups, the relevant arm is Octopus Ventures, which runs one of Europe's larger venture teams and backs early-stage companies across sectors such as fintech, health, consumer, deep tech and B2B software. Much of the group's venture capital comes from retail investors via VCT and EIS products.
