Founded in 2021 by a team that previously worked together at Luminous Ventures and SOSV, this London firm backs European science and technology start-ups at the point between seed and Series A. Sectors include biotech, healthcare, agtech, food and advanced manufacturing.

Cheques are typically between $500k and $2m. The inaugural fund held a first close of €60m and aimed to build a portfolio of about 25 companies. The firm is known for an 'equity back guarantee' that lets founders return cash and keep their equity if expectations are not met. Its site lists Origins and Conviction funds as deployed.
