Oxford Capital is an Oxford-based investment manager that has backed UK technology and science companies since 1999\. It looks for founders with what it calls an unfair advantage and has put more than £500m into over 100 businesses.

Its activity splits into two strands: backing founders from pre-seed to Series A, and backing growth from Series A onwards. Much of its capital is raised from private investors through EIS portfolios and VCT products, which carry UK tax reliefs.
