Passion Capital is a London venture firm, founded in 2009, that presents itself as Europe's first operator-led VC fund. It invests very early, often before a product or customers exist, and typically puts £400,000 to £500,000 into new companies, backing around ten start-ups a year.

Its current focus is AI, fintech and risk. The firm has backed more than 100 companies, including Monzo, GoCardless, Tide, Marshmallow and PolyAI, with five reaching unicorn status after Passion invested at pre-seed. It is also known for publishing plain-English term sheets.
