Proxy is a branding and strategy studio set up in London in 2013 that combines agency work with venture investing. It creates brand names and identities from scratch for start-ups and larger companies, and it makes early-stage investments from its own balance sheet, often alongside its branding work.

Brands it has worked on include Oura, Supercell and ICEYE. Its partners include Aapo Bovellan, Miia Bovellan and Isobel Rutherford, and companies it has backed have gone on to raise from funds such as Index Ventures, Atomico and Creandum.
