Seneca Partners is an investment firm based in Haydock, Merseyside, set up in 2010 by a group of accountants, bankers and investment specialists. Its equity arm provides growth capital to private and AIM-quoted UK SMEs, largely through the Seneca EIS Portfolio Service and the Seneca Growth Capital VCT.

Alongside equity, the group provides debt funding to SMEs and invests in commercial property. It reports having backed more than 100 SMEs with equity and works with a network of several hundred UK financial advisers who distribute its tax-efficient products.
