Smedvig Ventures is the London-based venture arm of the Smedvig family office and invests in European B2B technology businesses. It targets the gap between Series A and Series B, backing companies with at least around €750k of annual recurring revenue in rounds of up to €20m.

Typical tickets are €4m to €8m. Because its capital comes from a single family office rather than outside LPs, it describes its money as patient. Its €115m fund focuses on the UK, the Nordics and Benelux, and it aims to make a few new investments each year.
