TLcom Capital invests in technology businesses across Africa, from seed through to growth stage, with teams in London, Lagos and Nairobi. Its portfolio includes FairMoney, uLesson, SeamlessHR and Pula, covering fintech, edtech, HR technology, agriculture and supply chain.

Its second fund, TIDE Africa Fund II, closed at $154m with backers including the European Investment Bank and Visa Foundation. That fund keeps an early-stage, multi-sector mandate, extends coverage to Egypt and typically makes first investments of $1m to $3m. The firm's stated approach is conviction before consensus.
