Waterspring Ventures is an early-stage investor focused on Wales. It raises around £2 million a year from private individuals through an EIS fund and invests up to £750,000 in about three new EIS-eligible Welsh businesses annually, aiming to help them scale, reach international markets and achieve a profitable exit. The team leads negotiation, due diligence and legal work on investors' behalf and holds stakes through a nominee structure. Founded in 2021 by entrepreneurs, investors and advisers, it supports portfolio companies with board representation and access to industry specialists and later-stage investors. It is an appointed representative of The Fund Incubator.
