Alterist is a circular fashion platform focused on reducing textile waste. Its online marketplace sells clothing, footwear and accessories made by independent designers from materials and garments already in circulation, and it runs a concept store in London Fields. Alterist also works on collaborations, such as an upcycled T-shirt collection with TRAID, and invites designers to join as sellers. The marketplace launched in 2022 and the business was founded in 2020 by Hannah Standen and Martina Sorghi.
