Boone is a Norwich-based personalised nutrition app. Users log food through meal photos, text, barcodes or supermarket receipts, and the app breaks meals down into macronutrients, 29 vitamins and minerals and level of processing, tracking patterns over weeks rather than single meals. Targets are set from official guidance for each person's age and sex, a household can track several members, and an optional DNA test adds genetic traits linked to nutrient handling. Its ultra-processed food ratings build on research published with the University of East Anglia. Boone App Ltd was incorporated in 2024.
