Breathe Battery Technologies makes physics-based software for designing, validating and controlling lithium-ion batteries. Its products, Breathe Discover, Simulate and Charge, help manufacturers evaluate many more cell options before building prototypes, model battery behaviour with digital twins and run adaptive charging that cuts charge times without harming safety or lifespan. The technology is used in consumer electronics and electric vehicles, including the Volvo EX60\. Founded in London in 2019, the company raised a $21M Series B in 2025 led by Kinnevik.
