EcothermiQ is developing a retrofittable climate control system for buildings that combines heating, cooling and filtered ventilation in one unit. Powered by solar radiation and designed to keep working after sunset, the compact modular system mounts on or within an external wall and uses AI-based control to adjust to conditions, aiming to cut energy use and carbon emissions while improving indoor air quality and thermal comfort. Planned formats include a retrofit unit, a facade system and integration into prefabricated buildings. The company is at the pilot stage and is seeking partners for product application and pilot projects. EcothermiQ Ltd is registered in England and Wales.
