Gyre Energy builds a platform that combines physics-based AI with thermal energy storage and monitoring controls to reduce the cost and energy demand of commercial cooling. It targets cold storage and logistics operators, grocery retail, data centres and building portfolios, shifting cooling load away from expensive peak-price periods while protecting stored product. The company reports verified energy savings from field deployments and is installing its system with a large cold-chain logistics operator. It was founded in 2024 by three Oxford MBAs and raised a pre-seed round in 2026 led by Speedinvest, with Rule 30 and Plug and Play participating.
