IPG Energy, the trading name of Intelligent Power Generation, develops the IPG Flameless Generator, a hybrid generator and battery system intended to replace diesel generators in sectors such as construction, events and utilities. Its patented flameless combustion technology can run on a range of fuels, including renewable ones, while cutting nitrogen oxide and other harmful emissions. The London company was incorporated in 2016 and is supported by academic institutions, government agencies and commercial partners. In 2022 it raised just over £1m through an equity crowdfunding campaign to fund demonstration trials.
