KIT-AR builds augmented reality software for manufacturing quality assurance. The platform guides workers on assembly, kitting and packing tasks, checks their work against instructions and records data on the shop floor. Manufacturers use it to reduce the cost of poor quality, digitise paper processes and train new staff faster. Customers come from sectors including automotive, aerospace, electronics and furniture, and case studies cite Airbus and COMAU. Founded in 2018 as a spinout of University College London and the Norwegian research institute SINTEF, the company is based in London and also has offices in Portugal.
