Performit Live places interactive digital characters in physical venues such as shopping centres, heritage sites and shops. Its Lumière AI product runs on-screen AI characters that answer visitor questions and stay on brand for weeks at a time, working as a digital concierge, wayfinding aid or signage. The company also offers AI photo booths and characters voiced by human performers. Its pitch to venue operators is that screens become two-way conversations that also capture insight about visitors. The business is based at the Fareham Innovation Centre in Hampshire and has worked with events including the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
