PocDoc is a Cambridge health-tech company that combines rapid point-of-care diagnostic tests with an app that reads results using a smartphone camera. Its main product, the Healthy Heart Check, delivers cholesterol results, a Heart Age figure and a ten-year cardiovascular risk estimate in around ten minutes, and can feed results into NHS services. The company works with pharmacies, employers, retailers and the NHS, and is developing further tests for metabolic, kidney and wider health screening. It is backed by MMC Ventures, Molten Ventures, Simplyhealth Ventures and KHP Ventures.
