shaka lets businesses launch branded mobile plans for their customers without building a telecoms operation. Using eSIM technology, brands choose data, voice and SMS allowances, then sell plans through shaka's ready-made apps or integrate them into their own products via an API, while shaka handles network services, payments and customer support. The model is pitched at retailers, football clubs and content creators looking for recurring revenue and stronger customer loyalty. The London company was founded in 2023 and raised a seed round led by Haatch, Purple Ventures and Antler in January 2024.
