Tide is a London-headquartered business financial platform that gives small companies a current account alongside invoicing, expense management, credit, payroll and accounting tools, with much of the product delivered through its app. It launched in the UK in 2017 and reports more than 2 million members worldwide, including around 900,000 UK businesses and over 1.1 million in India, where it launched in 2022; it has since opened in Germany and France. Tide says it has raised over $300m in total, including a $120m investment led by TPG in 2025 that valued it at $1.5bn. Oliver Prill has been chief executive since 2018, and the company says its UK operations are profitable.
