Untap Health provides always-on monitoring that detects infectious disease in a building or site before people show symptoms. Its unit samples wastewater on site and analyses it for relevant pathogen signals, giving organisations early warning without asking individuals to test. The system is aimed at public health bodies, healthcare, defence, workplaces, offshore installations and critical infrastructure, and the company also runs an agriculture strand. Untap was founded by Claire Trant and is engineered in the UK; it was selected for TechCrunch's Startup Battlefield 200 in 2023.
