WellWired is an online learning platform that introduces artificial intelligence to older adults with no technical background. Its free lessons take about ten minutes each and cover what AI is, how to spot scams and deepfakes, and how to try a chatbot directly on the site. Practical guides supply ready-made prompts for everyday tasks such as writing letters, planning trips, tracing family history and finding recipes.

For learners who want to go further, the paid Academy offers thirty interactive modules ending in a graded certificate, sold as a one-off lifetime purchase. The site also provides a free scam checker for suspicious messages, a weekly email on current AI scams and a short quiz that suggests a personal learning route.
