Bridford Group invests its own capital in founder-led businesses and has no third-party investors, which allows it to hold stakes for the long term. Based in London and Amsterdam, it manages a portfolio of more than 30 companies, mostly in Europe.
Most of its investments have been in early-stage companies, though it also backs more mature growth businesses, typically taking a meaningful minority stake and sometimes a majority. Its focus areas are technology (especially fintech), music, sustainability and life sciences, and the portfolio includes Adyen, Amuse, Artone Group and Bactobio. It avoids businesses it considers harmful to the environment or human welfare.
