DIANA is the Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic, set up by NATO to find and speed up dual-use technology across the Alliance. It runs annual challenge programmes in areas such as energy and power, secure communications, autonomy and unmanned systems, space, maritime operations, biotechnology and critical infrastructure.
Companies selected for its six-month accelerator receive €100,000 in contract funding, and the strongest can receive up to €300,000 more in a follow-on phase. Participants also get access to more than 180 test centres and mentors across member states. DIANA is headquartered in London, with regional hubs in Tallinn and Halifax, Canada.
