Origin Capital is an early-stage investor whose principals put their own money into unquoted technology businesses and smaller listed companies, joined in private deals by a small network of co-investors. The portfolio leans towards high-value manufacturing, life sciences, software and IT infrastructure, with further interests in financial services, consumer products and media. Private rounds it takes part in are typically £50k to £2m, at pre-money valuations of up to about £10m. Founder Tim de Vere Green often chairs investee boards, and the firm can also offer consultancy. Recent activity includes a cornerstone role in aircraft-seat maker Unum's 2025 growth round and exits from Rotageek (2025) and Muve (2026).
