Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) is a Glasgow-based, FCA-regulated growth equity investor that has been operating for about 25 years. It backs enterprise technology companies that solve complex problems for large organisations, with a current focus on data and artificial intelligence.
SEP has invested more than £1bn to date and writes large growth cheques, such as a $50m investment in mea Platform. Its portfolio includes AutoRek, Braincube and Enate, and past exits include Dotmatics and FundApps. It is a fit for scaling companies rather than seed-stage start-ups.
