Sheffield Technology Parks is a not-for-profit organisation based at Cooper Buildings in central Sheffield that supports science and technology businesses across South Yorkshire. It provides coworking desks, serviced offices and lab space, and reinvests its rental income into the local innovation ecosystem. Early-stage founders can join the Cooper Project incubation programme, which helps them validate ideas and become investor-ready, while the LOCATE programme supports firms relocating to the city. It also backs university spinouts with specialist facilities and links companies with academia, industry, funders and advisers. The organisation does not itself provide equity investment.
