Signal Ventures is the venture capital and strategic investment arm of The Signal Group, the shipping and analytics business behind Signal Maritime and Signal Ocean, which has offices in London and Athens. It works with SaaS, advanced analytics, optimisation and AI start-ups serving shipping, logistics and commodities trading. Its model combines a venture studio with an entrepreneur-in-residence programme for new ventures, early-stage equity investment in companies that fit the group's ecosystem, and data and technology partnerships. Portfolio companies can draw on the group's maritime data sets, covering vessel movements, port calls, cargo and emissions, alongside operational and team-building support.
