Social Tech Trust is a London-based charity, formerly Nominet Trust, that supports early-stage ventures using technology to improve lives, strengthen communities and protect the planet, with a particular focus on equitable outcomes. It backs founders through a mix of grants, challenge prizes and investment, including its Social Tech Ventures Fund and commitments to impact funds.
Its GoodTech Ventures accelerator has worked with more than 1,200 founders, and it runs themed programmes such as an AI and Social Mobility Challenge Prize. It suits mission-led start-ups rather than purely commercial ventures.
