beEmbedded builds modular hardware and software that help engineers develop and test audio products. Its first product, beHydra, is a USB audio analyser that captures, generates and analyses analogue and digital audio across USB Audio, PCM/TDM/I2S, PDM and SPDIF interfaces, controlled from a desktop app or automated through a Python API. Swappable modules let teams upgrade rather than replace equipment, cutting electronic waste. The company was founded in Edinburgh in 2023.
