ConsoneAI is a techbio company that uses machine learning to predict the toxicity of new drugs and chemicals. Its DioScor platform draws on a curated database of more than 80,000 compounds with animal and human toxicity data, training models tailored to each compound by chemical similarity, and aims to predict outcomes from preclinical stages through to clinical trials, including organ- and demographic-specific effects. The goal is to help developers spot safety problems earlier and reduce reliance on animal testing. Based in Wetherby, near Leeds, it raised an initial £200k from SFC Capital under SEIS in 2024.
