Uplift360 develops low-energy chemical processes to recover high-performance materials such as carbon fibre, Kevlar-class aramids, hybrid laminates and body armour from waste, so they can be reused in aerospace, defence and industrial products. Its technologies include RENEW for aramid recycling and ChemR for resin removal. The company was founded in 2021 by Sam Staincliffe and Jamie Meighan and is chaired by retired Lieutenant General Richard Nugee. It has a UK entity in Bristol and a headquarters in Luxembourg, and is backed by Extantia, the NATO Innovation Fund, Promus Ventures, Sustainable Ventures and others.
