Vairi is a social discovery app for adults looking to make friends outside work and dating. Instead of a feed or swipe deck, members complete an interview of around ten questions covering conflict style, energy levels and current life changes such as a move or new job. Vairi then sends a single introduction based on those answers and refines future matches using feedback and successful conversations.
Names, photos and exact locations stay hidden until both people agree to reveal them. Matching requires a verified email, messages pass through an automatic filter, and chat logs from closed matches are deleted after 90 days. Most members are in London, with other UK cities on a waitlist, and members vote on new features.
