Atomico is a London-based venture capital firm set up in 2006 by Skype co-founder Niklas Zennström. It invests in European technology companies, mainly from Series A onwards with a separate growth strategy, and has backed businesses such as Klarna, Supercell, Lilium and Graphcore.
The team is made up largely of former founders and operators, and the firm offers portfolio support in areas including hiring, go-to-market and fundraising. It also publishes the annual State of European Tech report, which tracks investment and talent across the region.
