BGF (formerly the Business Growth Fund) was set up in 2011 to provide patient, minority equity to ambitious small and medium-sized businesses. Its early-stage arm funds deep tech and life sciences companies from late seed to Series B.
The investor works from a network of offices across the UK and has deployed more than £5bn into over 650 businesses, about 280 of which have since exited. Alongside capital it offers support on acquisitions, international expansion, talent, ESG, data and AI.
