Index Ventures is a venture capital firm with dual headquarters in London and San Francisco that invests from seed through to growth and IPO. In 2024 it announced $2.3bn of new capital, split between an $800m early-stage fund and a $1.5bn growth fund, bringing total capital raised to about $15bn.
Its portfolio spans software, fintech, AI, security, consumer and enterprise technology, with companies such as Revolut, Wiz and DeepL. The firm reports having backed more than 100 companies that went on to reach valuations of $1bn or more.
