AI Stem Separation runs an online stem splitter that works in the browser, so no desktop plugin or VST is needed. Users upload MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A and similar files, or paste a YouTube or SoundCloud link for audio they have rights to. They then choose a 2-stem (vocals and instrumental), 4-stem or 6-stem Demucs model before processing begins.

The service charges by audio minutes rather than by subscription. Minute packs of 30, 100 or 300 minutes do not expire, failed jobs have their minutes refunded, and new users get five free minutes. Exports are in MP3, with WAV available on larger packs. Separate pages cover uses such as vocal removal, karaoke and backing tracks.
