Appari is a consumer virtual try-on tool for fashion shoppers. Users upload a selfie, or start with a demo model that resembles them, then add a screenshot of any outfit, whether from TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram, Depop or a retail site. The service generates an image of that outfit on the user's body in seconds, and retailers do not need to be involved.
Shoppers can save looks, compare them side by side and send high-definition snapshots to group chats for opinions before buying. The aim is to reduce guesswork and returns. It runs in the browser on any device and can be tried free without a credit card.
