Certchain runs a workforce compliance platform for the construction sector. Workers' credentials are verified with more than 40 training and regulatory bodies and held in digital skills passports, so employers can onboard, check and monitor competence across projects without manual paperwork. An AI assistant, Cara, helps workers spot skills gaps and find training for career progression. Certchain Limited was incorporated in Scotland in 2021 by Hilde Holt-Bjørnerud, Stephen Holt-Bjørnerud and Sam Chamberlain, and in December 2025 raised £750,000 from Ufi Ventures and Haatch.
