CountPort is software for stores, showrooms and venues that analyses footage from cameras already installed on the premises. It is not a camera or sensor product. It reports visitor numbers, current occupancy, average time spent per visit, routes taken through a space and queue activity at checkouts. It can exclude staff from counts and show the share of visitors who make a purchase, both per entrance and across the whole store.
All video is processed on a computer inside the premises, such as a standard PC, a Mac mini, a recorder or supported cameras. Only anonymous measurements are sent on. The software does not use facial recognition, and heatmaps show where customers gather or slow down without identifying anyone.
